Hollywood is constantly being forced to evolve with an ever-changing modern world, which can sometimes deem certain trends or actions as “cancelled.” The plot is often disrespectful and does not accurately portray the person or group. A lot of the films have maintained their status as “classics” even though they are laden with these issues. However, it is sure that they would not be acceptable as a film produced today. White Chicks (2004)
The plot of White Chicks is that two Black FBI agents who are brothers fail to successfully break up a drug bust. Their punishment is to follow around some rich, blonde twin sisters in the Hamptons to lure a kidnapper out of hiding. The girls abandon the brothers so the agents are forced to disguise themselves as white, blonde women. As the film is full of sexism, racism and other offensive jokes, there is no way it will ever be remade again.
