Adrenaline junkies, get ready for some thrills and spills – UK-based company Ocean Florida is hiring people to test roller coasters for three weeks in Orlando this spring!

Theme park capital of the world, Orlando will be the location for this market research, the candidate having to visit beloved places such as Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, Busch Gardens and SeaWorld Orlando in either April or May.

And the lucky person won’t even get a chance to be lonely, as they will be able to bring a friend, partner or family member with them – as long as they are over the age of 18.

But the responsibility will go beyond rollercoasters, as they will also have to judge the food, drinks, souvenirs, characters, parades and shows in each park.

Ocean Florida is looking for more than a thrill seeker – they specifically stated that they needed someone that is good with social media, with taking photos and videos, as well as keeping a video diary and posting on Instagram.

But if you fit the bill, it’ll be worth it as you’ll be paid £3,000 (about $3,950), and will also get travel and in-park expenses (such as fast passes, food, tickets to shows), plus a GoPro and Fit Bit for the duration of the experience, in order to record great content, heart rate while on rides and steps in the parks.

Harry Hastings, co-chief executive at Ocean Florida, said: “It’s an incredibly exciting opportunity, and truly is a job like no other. If you have a thirst for adventure and a passion for trying out new experiences, we want to hear from you.”

He added: “2020 is an exciting year for us, and we can’t wait to see our new theme park tester in action – good luck.”

To apply, people need to fill a form with questions that include your favourite roller coaster and the Disney character you identify with the most.
